The practice run.

In preparation for our upcoming trip we decided to have a girls night out! We met up with our friends Taylor and Kathryn. Started the evening with happy hour at La Papagayo a funky Cuban resturaunt. During sangria, tequila shots and listening to live music we came to the decision that dancing was a must! After a few rounds of shuffleboard, with some fierce competitors, we moved on to The Saloon. A local dive bar with a house dj. Just what we needed to complete a very successful evening. Lots of laughter.

1st Planning Meeting

Thursday, August 1.

Jess (Jizz) and I had our first planning meeting last night. It consisted of a little bit of planning and a lot of martinis... and baked brie.

Blueberry Lemon Drop... with a few strawberries.

Baked brie and chicken sausage burgers... yum.

This is what we came up with...

San Diego-->Las Vegas-->Grand Canyon-->Carlsbad-->San Antonio-->Austin-->Lafayette-->New Orleans-->Auburn-->Nashville-->Kansas City-->Denver-->San Diego

The party then continued to Union and Ale House, with Tim joining.

Short story short, it was a successful night.
