We started our monday morning waking up in Austin. A relaxed walk with Finn lead us to Taco Deli where we feasted on the best taco of our lives! Named "The Cowboy" it was filled with garlic rubbed angus, caramalised onions, feta and home made guacamole. Yum!!
Next, we headed to the Capitol for a personal tour with Joel. Being escorted around by a master of the building was truly rewarding.

The school children out front were also excited to see the Capitol of Texas.

After a decent walk around the beautiful grounds we deserved and much needed pedicures. Before hitting the road we had to try some ice cream from Amy's followed by an insane roast beef sandwich from a food truck called 'Hey, you gonna eat or what?'
We then packed it in for our next destination. We had a lovely sunset in the rear view mirror. Goodbye Texas, Hello Louisiana!
Crossed the border a little after sunset.
We originally planned to stay the night in Baton Rouge but changed it to Lafayette last minute. And boy are we glad we did! We went to 'The French Press' for breakfast and it was delicious!!! Jensen had the best breakfast of her life, the Cajon Benidect. The town was so inviting and funky. Full of art galleries and coffee shops made for a slow friendly vibe.
We walked around the adorable town and then headed to New Orleans. We decided to stop on the way in Baton Rouge to see the movie "We Are The Millers". We were in hysterics!!! Super funny!
looking forward to hear of crazy new orleans stories!.. no pressure.. jus sayin' :)
